This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop was purchased in the early 1980s, and refurbishment work in the late 1980s included a repaint in metallic blue and white after the body was nosed and decked. Power is provided by a 327ci V8 that was rebuild in 2012 and is topped with a dual-quad induction setup. The four-speed manual transmission is linked to a narrowed 9″ rear end with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential, and the chassis features power steering along with power-assisted front disc brakes. Inside, the bench seats are trimmed in white leather and accompanied by an aftermarket floor shifter and a column-mounted tachometer. Additional equipment includes an electric radiator fan, coated exhaust headers, and 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
