This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished in the mid-1990s and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is refinished in green over green and equipped with a removable hardtop, a black convertible soft top, 15″ knock-off wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. The fiberglass body was factory-finished in Mosport Green and refinished in 1995. The emblems, bezels, lamps, and weather stripping were also replaced them. The 15″ knock-off wheels are mounted with 7.75-15 Firestone Deluxe Champion-branded tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. The calipers were replaced in the 1990s.
